Privacy policy

1. Controller and contact

The controller of data processed through this website and commercial contact is [COMPLETAR: nombre y apellido o razón social del titular de Deudores], CUIT [COMPLETAR], address [COMPLETAR: domicilio legal en Argentina]. The email for privacy inquiries and requests is [email protected].

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the public Deudores page, messages sent to its contact email and the application's connections to its update service. The desktop application stores each business's database locally; the Provider does not access that database through the application or receive its debtor names, transactions, amounts, notes or PDFs.

3. Data processed and purposes

4. Data you store in the application

The application records names, debts, payments, dates, amounts and descriptions. This information is stored on the user's PC, in local Deudores files. The business name and logo, if configured, are also stored locally. The user can create backups in their chosen location and export pages or PDFs to share.

Because the person or business using the application decides what data to enter, for what purpose and with whom to share reports, they are responsible for having a legal basis, informing affected people, limiting data to what is necessary, controlling access and handling requests regarding managed data. If they select a Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or other synchronized service folder, that provider may receive or store the backup file under its own terms.

The user must avoid entering sensitive data or data unnecessary to manage their activity. Deudores is not a credit reporting agency and does not enable publication of overdue debtor lists.

5. Cookies, advertising and analytics

The website uses the Meta pixel and Conversions API to measure visits, product views, checkout starts and confirmed purchases, attribute advertising results and improve performance. Meta may receive the IP address, browser characteristics, visited URL without parameters, date, event identifier, purchase amount and currency, and browser and click identifiers from _fbp and _fbc cookies, which may be retained for up to 90 days. When Mercado Pago provides the buyer's email, the server normalizes and transforms it using SHA-256 before sending it to Meta for matching; this transformation does not anonymize the data. Card numbers, license keys and debtor data recorded in the application are not sent. Pending events are retained in Cloudflare for up to 7 days and their purchase context for up to 30 days to allow retries. You can delete cookies and website data in your browser. Meta processes information according to its privacy policy.

6. Basis and retention

Browsing data is retained according to the hosting provider's settings and periods, which the owner must confirm. Messages are kept for the time needed to respond, maintain a business relationship or handle complaints, and for applicable statutory periods. Local application data remains on the computer or backup folder chosen by the user until they modify or delete it; Deudores cannot delete it remotely because it does not receive that database.

7. Recipients and transfers

The website relies on a web hosting provider whose legal business name and location the owner must complete before publication. Google receives font requests. Mercado Pago processes payments and buyer data; Cloudflare hosts the service that confirms payment status and records licenses. The update service hosted at updates.tulocalexpress.com receives application connections when it checks for new versions; the domain operator and its infrastructure providers must be identified and validated. Personal data is not sold and user lists are not transferred for advertising.

Any international data transfer must comply with Law 25.326 and rules applicable to the destination country, including adequate protection or legally required safeguards. The controller must verify providers' locations, processing conditions and retention.

8. Security

Reasonable measures are applied according to the nature and risk of processing. Visitors should be aware that no email transmission or internet connection is completely immune to incidents. In the desktop application, the user controls the computer, Windows session, folder permissions and backup locations; they must keep them protected and updated.

9. Individuals' rights

You may request information about your data and exercise rights of access, rectification, updating or erasure where applicable, by emailing [email protected] and indicating the right you wish to exercise and a reasonable way to verify your identity. Law 25.326 generally establishes ten calendar days to respond to access requests and five business days to rectify, update or erase data after receiving a complaint, subject to the law's conditions and exceptions. Do not email complete documents or sensitive data unless strictly necessary and the controller directs you to an appropriate channel.

For data a business entered in its own Deudores installation, the request must be addressed to that business, which controls the local database. The Provider cannot search, view or edit those records.

The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP) is the supervisory authority for Law 25.326. You may consult its channels and submit a complaint at argentina.gob.ar/aaip/datospersonales/derechos.

10. Minors

The website and software are intended for adults and businesses. They are not designed for children or adolescents to create accounts or send personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

If features, providers or processed data change, this page will be updated with a new date. Significant changes will be communicated appropriately where applicable.
